(ANSA) - Rome, September 26 - Leaders Juventus and second-placed Napoli both won at the weekend to open up a gap with the chasing pack.
Champions Juventus, who are gunning for a sixth consecutive league title, laboured to a 1-0 win at Palermo thanks to an own goal by Edoardo Goldaniga.
They now have 15 points from six games.
Napoli are one point behind after beating Chievoverona 2-0 at home thanks to first-half goals by Manolo Gabbiadini and Marek Hamsik.
Third-placed Inter are three points further back after they were held 1-1 at home by Bologna.
Captain Francesco Totti converted a penalty for his 250th Serie A goal but the strike could not stop AS Roma losing 3-1 at Torino.
Roma are among a group of five teams that have 10 points, along with Chievo, Bologna, AC Milan, who drew 0-0 at Fiorentina, and Lazio, who beat Empoli 2-0 in Rome.
