(ANSA) - Turin, September 26 - Finance police in the
northern city of Turin on Monday said they have pressed charges
against a 38-year-old entrepreneur in the agricultural sector
who did not file tax returns claiming he had no property or
income, although he owned a plane, eight homes and as many bank
accounts and 137 plots of land.
Tax police said he had failed to declare revenues worth
750,000 euros and had evaded taxes for an additional 250,000
euros.
Investigators have asked prosecutors in the city of Ivrea
near Turin to seize assets worth 260,000 euros, reportedly owned
by the entrepreneur, whose identity has not been released.
