Milan bourse closes 2.50% up with banks resurgent

(ANSA) - Milan, August 23 - The Milan bourse closed 2.50% up Tuesday with the bellwether FTSE-MIB index rising to 16,778 points.
    The rally, after a 0.36% gain Monday following losses last week, was again linked to the resurgence of banking stocks.
