    Juve, who are aiming to beat the great Turin side of the '40s and the Inter side of the 2010 treble, won thanks to Gonzalo Higuain, a Serie A record signing from Napoli at 90 million euros, who last year beat Gunnar Nordahl's 66-year record by scoring 36 goals for the Neapolitans. Roma beat Udinese 4-0 in their first game without Miralem Pjanic, who has also moved to Juve, while Napoli drew 2-2 at Pescara, Milan beat Torino 3-0, Sassuolo won 1-0 at Palermo, Chievo beat Inter 2-0, Lazio won 4-3 at Atalanta, Sampdoria won 1-0 at Empoli, Genoa beat Cagliari 3-1, and Bologna beat Crotone 1.0.
