Pope to visit Rome cardiologists' meet Aug 31

(ANSA) - Vatican City, August 18 - Pope Francis will attend the annual congress of the European Society of Cardiology in Rome next Wednesday, Vatican Spokesman Greg Burke told journalists Thursday. More than 30,000 doctors from 140 countries will take part in the August 27-31 gathering. A spokesman for the Fiera di Roma said the pope's visit was an "indescribable honour".
