(ANSA) - Bolzano, August 18 - Famous Alto-Adige-born base
jumper Uli Emanuele, who became a Web sensation through his
death-defying stunts, died in a crash at Lauterbrunnen in
Switzerland Thursday. The accident was initially reported to
have happened in Austria. The 29-year-old, who became an
Internet star by flying through a ring of fire and a 'needle
hole' formed by a rock, was shooting a video, his entourage
said, without giving further information.
