(ANSA) - Genoa, July 29 - A preliminary investigations judge has shelved a bankruptcy fraud investigation against Premier Matteo Renzi's father, Tiziano Renzi, in the crack-up of Genoa-based Chil Post newspaper and publicity distribution firm.
The probe was opened in 2013, when the firm founded by the elder Renzi went belly up.
Tiziano Renzi said at the time he was "so worried about being investigated, I haven't even bothered to hire a lawyer".
