Man leaves prison, rapes woman, gets rearrested

(ANSA) - Modena, July 13 - An undocumented Algerian national was arrested Wednesday on charges of raping a Nigerian prostitute just hours after he was let out of prison yesterday.
    The suspect, aged 32, had been released and ordered expelled from the country.
    He then allegedly attacked the 19-year-old victim on the street, where police picked him up after a fellow Nigerian national reported the suspected rape.
    The Algerian was reportedly trying to hide under some leaves.
    The victim was treated and released with a five-day prognosis. She requested asylum in September 2015.
