(ANSA) - Rome, July 6 - Beau Solomon, the 19-year-old American student found dead in the River Tiber in Rome this week, drowned, according to an autopsy ordered by prosecutors, ANSA sources said Wednesday. A homeless Italian man, Massimo Galioto, is accused of homicide by pushing Solomon into the river after a row on the night between Thursday and Friday last week. The autopsy found water in the young man's lungs, which rules out the possibility that he was dead when he was pushed into the water, the sources said. Witnesses told police that Solomon was drunk and staggering when two other people accompanied him to the embankment near Ponte Garibaldi and robbed his credit card, prior to the altercation with Galioto. The University of Michigan student was in Rome for a five-week course at John Cabot University.
