Young inmates give pope cross made out of bread

(ANSA) - Vatican City, June 15 - Six inmates of a juvenile detention centre at Airola near Benevento on Wednesday met Pope Francis at his general audience and gave him a cross made out of bread.
    "It was a very important experience for them and has boosted their spiritual growth" said the warden of the detention centre, Antonio Di Lauro.
