(ANSA) - Milan, May 31 - The World Bank is launching a bond
of up to $500 million for sustainable development, dedicated to
the Italian market.
The 10-year bond combines the search for return with
current efforts to finance sustainable projects at the
environmental, social and economic level, aimed at reducing
poverty and inequality, the bank said in a statement.
The World Bank has collaborated with BNP Paribas as dealer
and Banca Akros as co-dealer in the launch of the bond aimed at
Italian retail investors. The bond has a fixed annual coupon of
2.35% in the first year, with variable coupons in the following
years.
