(ANSA) - Siena, May 31 - Police on Tuesday searched a Siena
horse-riding stable and the homes and private stables of three
jockeys in a probe into the alleged falsification of the records
of Italian horses to register them as half-breed Anglo-Arab
horses and thus qualify them for the iconic Palio horse race
last summer.
Police said the horses' ID microchips had been switched.
