Man falls from balcony while hiding from lover's husband

(ANSA) - Barletta, May 31 - A 36-year-old man suffered spinal fractures and other injuries after falling from a second floor balcony in Barletta, southern Italy, during an attempt to hide from his lover's husband.
    The man was in his lover's house when he heard that her husband had returned home, according to a reconstruction of the incident. He hid on the balcony and so as not to be seen, he hung from a railing, which was unable to hold his weight so he fell.
    Emergency services rushed to the scene and he is now recovering in hospital.
