(ANSA) - Milan, May 31 - European stock markets closed lower
on Tuesday, with Milan's bourse falling the most to end down
1.4% at 18,025 points.
Madrid lost just under 1% to close at 9,028 points,
followed by Frankfurt, which closed 0.6% lower at 10,262 points,
and London, which also slipped 0.6% to finish at 6,230 points.
Paris lost the least ground, closing 0.5% down at 4,505
points.
