(ANSA) - Milan, May 4 - The Milan bourse closed 0.1% down Wednesday with the bellwether FTSE-MIB index down to 17,935 points.
Banking stocks were mixed after two days of losses.
Banco Popolare rose 4% while Intesa lost 2.2%.
European stocks had a bad day with London 1.19% down, Frankfurt 0.99% off and Paris 1.09% down.
