(ANSA) - Ragusa, April 29 - A Democratic Party (PD) Siracusa
city councilmember was arrested Friday while on his way to Malta
with 16 kilos of marijuana and three kilos of hash.
Antonio Bonafede, 31, was cuffed along with Antonio
Genova, 44, and Salvatore Mauceri, 32, just before they boarded
a ferry in the town of Pozzallo.
They were charged with drug dealing and taken to prison,
police said.
