(ANSA) - Rome, April 21 - Former premier and centre-right
Forza Italia (FI) leader Silvio Berlusconi "has bad advisors who
will make him lose" the Rome mayoral race by sticking to
low-polling candidate Guido Bertolaso, Northern League leader
Matteo Salvini said Thursday.
Salvini's high-polling candidate, Brothers of Italy leader
Giorgia Meloni, said she was still "open" to a joint candidacy
by all the centre right despite FI's continued backing for
former civil protection chief Bertolaso.
Salvini said Bertolaso was "needed in Africa".
