Historic PD Rome chapter office to appeal eviction order (2)

(ANSA) - Rome, April 7 - The secretary of the Democratic Party's historic chapter office in Rome's central Via dei Giubbonari, Giulia Urso, on Thursday said they would appeal against an eviction order for unpaid arrears. "An appeal is certain. We're not moving from her, we're ready to resist the eviction order. Statements of solidarity and money are coming in from all over Europe," she said. "We are discussing the next actions to be taken with militants. We have already called a meeting for Monday," she said. Earlier the regional administrative court (TAR) of Lazio upheld a city council eviction order for unpaid arrears and lack of formal permission to occupy the building.
