PD, Italy leading EU response, Trump outside - Renzi

(ANSA) - Rome, April 4 - Premier Matteo Renzi said Monday "outside here there's Trump and a right that in the US for the first time is contaminated by forces of demagoguery and populism that go decidedly beyond the Tea Party and risks, against the establishment, to go on and win the nomination". He told his ruling Democratic Party (PD) that "the PD and Italy are currently in a position of leadership to try to provide a response" to what he said was a crisis in European values.
