(ANSA) - Perugia, March 2 - Swiss food and drinks giant Nestlé will invest 60 million euros over three years "to strengthen the great Perugina brand in Italy and abroad", according to the marketing head of Nestlé Italia, Leo Wencel. He was speaking after a three-hour meeting in which unions were shown an industrial plan for the historic Perugina plant at San Sisto on the outskirts of Perugia. Wencel ruled out redundancies. In a statement, Nestlé Italia said the plan would open up "new international horizons" for the maker of the famed Baci chocolate drops.
