(ANSA) - Rome, February 24 - Matteo Salvini, leader of the
anti-immigrant, anti-euro Northern League party, said Wednesday
that European Commission President Jean-Claude "Juncker and the
European Commission are not welcome in Italy". Salvini, who
wants to hold a referendum on leaving the EU, was speaking
during a visit to a Roma camp in Rome. Juncker and an EC
delegation are scheduled to visit Rome Friday.
