(ANSA) - Rome, February 11 - Alessandro Criscuolo is resigning as the president of Italy's Constitutional Court, ANSA sources said on Thursday. Family motives are behind the resignation and Criscuolo will continue to sit on the Constitutional Court as a justice, the sources said. Criscuolo told Premier Matteo Renzi, Senate Speaker Pietro Grasso and Lower House Speaker Laura Boldrini that he was resigning early on Thursday. He is set to meet President Sergio Mattarella later on Thursday and will present his resignation to the court next week.
