(ANSA) - Milan, January 27 - A Milan prosecutor on Wednesday requested the indictment for graft of former Lombardy deputy governor and ex-health councillor Mario Mantovani and another 14 people including regional economy councillor Massimo Garavaglia.
The charges are corruption, extortion, bid rigging and abuse of office. Former Senator Mantovani, also former mayor of Arconate and regional coordinator for Silvio Berlusconi's now-defunct People of Freedom party, was arrested with others including close aide Giacomo di Capua on October 13 and is now under house arrest.
