(ANSA) - Brussels, January 7 - Italy is second only to Spain
in terms of the drop in unemployment year-on-year, the European
statistics agency Eurostat said Thursday.
Unemployment in Italy fell by 1.8 percentage points from
13.1% in November 2014 to 11.3% in the same month last year.
Spain saw an improvement of 2.3 percentage points, from
23.7% to 21.4% over the same period.
Bulgaria showed an identical performance to Italy, with
unemployment falling from 10.6% to 8.8%.
