Police investigating to determine site's owners

(ANSA) - Rome, December 18 - The Rome prosecutor's office on Friday asked a preliminary hearing judge to issue an ordinance forcing a blackout of pro-Palestine website Radio Islam, after an investigation was opened against unknown suspects on Thursday when a list of prominent Jewish individuals was published on the site.
Italian postal police are investigating to determine the site's owners.
The site published a long list of names, mentioning prominent people in the media, acting and business worlds, with a subtitle that reads "the Jewish monopoly in the mass media in Italy".
The page also includes links to documents alleging Jewish influence in the country.
Charges from the investigation could include threats and defamation aggravated by racial hatred, ANSA sources said.
