(ANSA) - Rome, December 7 - Civil Service Minister Marianna
Madia and Economy Minister Pier Carlo Padoan on Monday signed a
decree authorising almost 3,000 new hires in law enforcement.
The decree provides for a new intake of 1,137 Carabinieri
police, 861 police, 552 finance police and 145 firefighters.
The fire department can also issue a call for applications
for a further 262 places.
