Man critical after leaping during Indonesian embassy fire

(ANSA) - Rome, December 2 - A man is in a critical condition after throwing himself from the second floor when a fire broke out at an apartment inside the Indonesian embassy, firefighter sources said on Wednesday. The man, probably an embassy employee, seems to have leapt from the building after the blaze caused him to panic, the sources said. The cause of the fire in the embassy, in Rome's Via Campania, near to the famous Via Veneto of La Dolce Vita, has not yet been established.
