(ANSA) - Verona, November 20 - Three armed men broke into
Verona's Castelvecchio Museum last night and stole Renaissance
paintings worth an estimated 10-15 million euros, museum
officials said Friday.
The loot included five Tintorettos, they said.
The stolen works include Andrea Mantegna's Holy Family with
a Saint, Pisanello's Madonna of th., and
Mayor Flavio Tosi said the theft had been "commissioned".
The Carabinieri art squad is investigating.
