(ANSA) - Rome, November 17 - The bad debts held by Italian
banks were up two billion to around 200 billion euros in
October, the Italian Banking Association said Tuesday.
Loans were slightly down again in October, by 0.3%.
Housing starts were up 92% in the first nine months of the
year.
New-mortgage rates were down to a post-2010 low of 2.61%.
