(ANSA) - Vatican City, November 16 - Pope Francis's agenda will not change in any way following Friday terrorist attacks in Paris, Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin has said. The attacks by Islamist extremists, which left at least 129 dead, have sparked concern about security for Rome, the home of the Catholic Church, and for the upcoming Jubilee of Mercy.
"These events don't change the pope's agenda at all," Parolin said in an interview with French Catholic daily La Croix. During his Angelus on Sunday Francis said that using God's name to justify violence was "blasphemy".
