(ANSA) - Milan, November 13 - Fashion heiress Miuccia Prada on Friday strongly denied she employed two gardeners illegally in the grounds of her villa on the Sicilian island of Favignana.
Prada, who took over the luxury goods firm in 1978, is being sued by the two, brothers Mario and Tindaro Oliva, in a Sicilian labour court claiming that they worked illegally for the iconic heiress in her island garden and are owed social security contributions and an employment contract.
Prada is due to appear at a court in Trapani March 18.
In a statement she "denied categorically the claims and the version of the facts proposed by Messrs. Oliva" and vowed to clarify the matter in court.
