(ANSA) - Rome, November 3 - Former Rome mayor Ignazio
Marino on Tuesday accused Premier Matteo Renzi of taking the
capital from his hands. He also said that anyone who does not
fall in line with Renzi is 'distanced' from their position.
"Renzi wanted Rome under his direct control and he took it,"
said Marino, who was ousted last week when Rome councillors quit
em masse in a drive led by his and Renzi's centre-left
Democratic Party (PD).
