Police seize 15 mn of assets in Banca Marche probe

Assets belonged to former director general and two businessmen

(ANSA) - Ancona, November 2 - Police investigating the alleged bilking of millions of euros from the Banca Marche by its former director general, Massimo Bianconi and two businessmen, Monday seized bank accounts, shares and houses in Bologna, Parma and Rome's smart via Archimede as well as a company in the name of his relatives, police said.
    In all assets worth 15 million euros were seized in the Marche, Puglia and Lombardy by finance police from Ancona. Some of them were considered loot from the fraud and others were seized protectively.
    The confiscations also concern businessman Vittori Casale, who is face corruption charges as well as another Puglian businessman who was not immediately identified, the sources said.
