(ANSA) - Rome, October 16 - Doctors who advise parents not
to vaccinate their children may be disbarred, the health
ministry said Friday. It said the measure could be included in a
forthcoming bill on making vaccination in schools compulsory.
Doctors who spread erroneous information about the dangers of
vaccines will face disciplinary measures and could eventually be
disbarred, the ministry said. If a death is involved they would
of course face criminal action, it said.
