(ANSA) - Venice, October 9 - Easyjet flight 5461 from London
to Crete performed an emergency landing at the Marco Polo
airport outside Venice on Friday, after the plane's captain lost
consciousness and the flight's copilot activated emergency
procedures.
The captain was taken to hospital upon landing and is
reported to be in non-serious condition.
All passengers were required to disembark and are awaiting
departure of a new flight bound for Crete.
