Pyongyang pledges to translate principles into concrete reality

(ANSA) - Milan, October 5 - North Korea on Monday signed the Milan Charter at the Milan Expo world's fair, pledging to "commit itself to apply and translate into concrete reality the principles contained therein," the North Korean special ambassador, Kim Chun Guk, said.
    The announcement was made on the occasion of North Korea's national day, celebrated under the sign of ginseng, "considered the king of green plants," the ambassador added.
    Expo commissioner general Antonio Bruno Pasquino expressed greetings to the North Koreans on behalf of the Italian government saying that "the Milan Charter involves us all".
    "It is time to re-define the options on the concept of feeding the planet, starting with the use of water, of soil and of dialogue between peoples".
