(ANSA) - Rome, October 2 - Five little girls wearing
explosives belts died Friday in a suicide attack near a mosque
in the northeastern Nigerian city of Maiduguri, the BBC
reported.
The youngest was nine years old.
The death toll including the child suicide bombers was 14,
and 39 people were injured.
Maiduguri is the birthplace of the Boko Haram Islamic
extremist insurgency.
