(ANSA) - Rome, September 3 - The Italian Soccer Federation
(FIGC) has got permission from FIFA to observe a minute's
silence for victims of the migrant emergency ahead of Thursday
night's Euro 2016 qualifier between Italy and Malta in Florence,
FIGC Chairman Carlo Tavecchio said.
"It is a sign of closeness and sensitivity," he said.
