(ANSA) - Berlin, September 2 - Italy and Greece must set up
so-called hotspots or migrant registration centres by year's
end, German Interior Minister Thomas De Maiziere said in a
statement on the refugee emergency Wednesday. "Germany cannot
resolve (the current situation) alone," he said. Germany
recently said it would take in Syrian refugees in a move it said
it hoped would encourage its EU partners.
