(ANSA) - Milan, September 1 - Italian financial magazine
Altreconomia on Tuesday said Google Italy has paid just 12
million euros in taxes over 13 years of doing business in the
country, a tiny figure when compared to the company's "real"
revenue, estimated conservatively by communications authority
AGCOM at 490 million euros in the last fiscal year.
According to the magazine, Google's Italian branch paid
12.08 million euros in taxes between 2002 and 2014 and made even
lower profits (10.6 million) in the same period.
