Spread closes one point down at 117

(ANSA) - Rome, August 28 - The spread between Italian and German 10-year bonds, a measure of market confidence in the Italian economy and Rome's ability to pay down its huge debt, closed a point down on 117 basis points Tuesday.
    The yield was 1.91%, down from 1.92% Thursday.
