Earlier Expo opening and discounted seasonal passes

Evening ticket at 5 euros brought forward to 6 pm

Redazione Ansa

(ANSA) - Milan, August 26 - From Saturday you can get into the Expo Milano world's fair an hour earlier, at least at two of the four entrances (those of Roserio and Cascina Merlata), while the Triulzia and Fiorenza entrances, those on the train and metro side, will continue to open at 10 a.m.
The decision, taken after a meeting of the steering committee attended by the countries attending the universal exposition, was taken in consideration of "the great influx of the public recorded in recent days," and will take effect in the next weeks.
It also will be possible to go into the Expo site with the 5 euro evening ticket from 6 pm instead of 7 pm. And the seasonal pass, given that there are less than three months to go, will be on sale at a discounted price of 75 euros. The three day carnet of tickets can no longer be bought, however (though those already issued remain valid).
It will be down to the individual pavilions to decide whether to continue to open at 10 a.m. or earlier.
