(ANSA) - Rimini, August 17 - Police on Sunday saved a child molester from being beaten up after he allegedly assaulted a boy on a Rimini bus, police said Monday.
The 65-year-old from Brescia, a known child molester, was spotted by a mother who said he had molested her son that morning.
He was surrounded by angry passengers, some of whom were about to take the law into their own hands, when police arrived to stop them.
The man has been barred from visiting Rimini for three years.
