Genoa's Softjam develops app for Down's people

(ANSA) - Genoa, July 27 - The International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP) has awarded its Apps Development Partner prize to Smart Angel, a mobile cloud platform and app developed by Genoa-based Softjam S.p.A. that would help Down's syndrome people navigate the city.
    The experimental software is being tested on 15 disabled people.
    The one-million-euro project was co-financed by the Liguria region and developed by Softjam along with a Genoa-based non-profit for the protection of Down's syndrome people, Italy's National Research Council (CNR), and the Genoa University engineering department.
