(ANSA) - Rome, July 1 - Sergio Sollima, director of the
cult TV series Sandokan, died Tuesday night aged 94, his family
said Wednesday.
Sollima, also a screenwriter and spaghetti western
director, made the six-part Sandokan miniseries starring Kabir
Bedi and adapted from the Emilio Salgari novels in 1976.
