(ANSA) - Rome, June 19 - Some 85 out of 130 council staff
in a small town near Caserta have been placed under
investigation for absenteeism, police said Friday.
The public employees at Orta di Atella allegedly passed
around one entry badge among the lot of them, police said.
They were caught after Carabinieri positioned
closed-circuit TV cameras.
