(ANSA) - Palermo, May 26 - Italian police on Tuesday
busted three Palermo mafia clans on suspicion of drug
trafficking, loan sharking and running protection rackets.
Thirty-nine people were arrested and hundreds of
kilogrammes of drugs seized.
A female member of Cosa Nostra was said to have been at
the head of one of the drug operations.
