(ANSA) - Viareggio, May 6 - A hen-pecked Tunisian man under
house arrest for theft has begged officers of the Carabinieri
paramilitary police to put him back in jail to spare him
continuous rows with his live-in girlfriend, police said
Wednesday.
The request was passed to the Florence Appeal Court, where
the judge obliged.
Carabinieri officers took the hapless north African to the
Lucca county jail to serve his sentence in peace.
