(ANSA) - Rome, April 30 - The economic cost of serving
justice in Italy is "intolerable", Finance Minister Pier Carlo
Padoan said Thursday.
"The estimates tell of frightening figures in terms of
percentage points of gross domestic product," Padoan said.
Tackling these costs of the country's notoriously slow
justice system would have "substantial benefits for GDP", he
added.
