(ANSA) - Genoa, April 3 - Investigators on Friday said they
are probing 23 Chinese and Italian citizens suspected of
involvement in producing false import papers to dodge taxes on
millions of euros in goods.
It is alleged that false documents were used on imports
arriving in Naples, Genoa, and near Rome.
Charges range from criminal conspiracy to commit forgery,
smuggling, and false invoices.
